“Casal aventureiro.”
First, let me make it clear that this is a rural accommodation, rustic at its core. The rooms are simple but absolutely clean and organized with basic amenities; the bathroom is spotless. The gourmet area is tidy and organized. The owners’ attention to detail is admirable, and they are extremely helpful. Breakfast features local, fresh products—bread, cheese, salami, and homemade sweets—served in a picnic basket that adds a special charm. The site is a farm, and the lodging is amid the activities, next to a pasture where some animals roam, a strawberry plantation, and a few fig trees. We didn’t have time to explore much more. A stone river nearby is calm, and we heard it a bit at night. In essence, the experience will resonate with those who grew up on a farm and will be an educational experience for others. It wasn’t a problem.
Not that I didn’t like it, just a note for those unfamiliar with rural life: the proximity of animals sometimes brings minor inconveniences, such as being careful when walking outside the accommodation area to avoid stepping on excrement. But the place is very pleasant, and the owners’ company is even more so. It’s worth the experience. We will definitely return!
