The quality and style are typical of Howard Johnson, so you know what to expect, and I especially appreciated the reception, housekeeping, and service staff—they were all excellent! However, the TVs need updating; nowadays you want to stream shows before bed. Another issue was that we were only given one key card, which made it difficult because if you leave the room you have to bother the other guest to open it, and you can’t take the sole key with you because the room loses power. I understand there was high demand and all the keys were distributed, but it’s something that Don Howard could improve with a little investment.

The facilities overall were very good, the outdoor pool and roof were immaculate, and the location was great. The elevator wasn’t working, and breakfast had limited options.
