The location in the village was lovely, close to shops, and perfect for walking the Pieterpad. The cottage was well‑furnished with everything needed for a short stay; we stayed for three nights and appreciated being able to cook ourselves. The mattress and pillows were good, which isn’t always the case along the Pieterpad, and the shower was fine. The host was welcoming and also provided contact for Pieterpad transport—ideal!

The place was perfect on the Pieterpad route, great for a few nights, with self‑cooking options and a supermarket within walking distance. It was a bit noisy, though.

Everything was great. We had a very pleasant stay and would gladly return. Hellendoorn is a beautiful town, and the location of the accommodation is ideal. A supermarket and restaurants are right nearby, there’s free parking, and the Adventure Park is within walking distance. There’s also plenty more to explore in the surrounding area.
