The concept was spot on, giving a mini‑lodge feel with a decent bedroom and bathroom, a kettle for drinks but no cooking like a Premier Inn – we loved being totally independent from other guests. Reception was exceptionally helpful, the pub‑style restaurant and on‑site pool were lovely, and the vibes and views made for a great night; I’ll definitely return.

I adored my room with its two large windows overlooking the countryside, the friendly staff, the close proximity to the Coastal Path, and the very reasonable price. However, I couldn’t find a place to eat and didn’t have a car; the on‑site restaurant was closed when I went looking and the reception staff had already left for the day. I had snacks, so it wasn’t a problem.

The value for money was superb, the rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the noise from other guests was a downside.
