Loved the hotel's prime location right on the Rhine and next to the Geysir Museum
The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home.
The hotel's position was a major plus point for me.
I noticed some mold on the edges of the shower's caulking, which could use some attention.

The location is great, right on the Rhine in Andernach. The view, however, was a demolition site.
The location was the best part of this hotel. The reception was empty in the afternoon when we arrived. The room was not clean; it was very dusty, there was trash under the bed, and the bathroom bin still held waste from the previous guest. There was no remote for the TV; we tried to find one, but two staff had to try many remotes in the room without success, and we eventually asked them to leave. The breakfast is not worth the price.

The panoramic location was very good. The hotel seems to have been renovated, yet the rooms booked are assigned by mixing guest key cards at check‑in. The bathroom is very small and cramped, the room fridge is locked, and the TV is either unusable or not usable at all. The foreign staff spoke no or only fragmentary German.

The location is very nice, the breakfast was fine—just enough for us. The rooms are renovated and the bathroom was very clean. The staff are friendly and make an effort. The bed linen was completely wrinkled and musty… there is no cloakroom, no wardrobe, and certainly no hangers. When we asked, they said the chef hadn’t bought any.
