The room is a classic Best Western, clean and fairly quiet, but Aberdeen feels very bleak, there's a homeless encampment right outside my window, and the room itself is tiny.

The location fits my needs perfectly, the staff are fantastic, the room is great, and the beds are comfortable, yet dealing with the Fentanyl zombies around the property makes moving around less than ideal, and in 2026 if Wi‑Fi is offered it should be fast enough for streaming and virtual meetings without buffering.

The room features a Jacuzzi and a fireplace, though the shower head is static—an ordinary quirk in the USA, so it’s a minor annoyance.
