We love this place, especially after the remodel! Can't wait for the bar to open! Rooms are always comfy and we love walking the property.

“My stay was lovely, the hotel was lovely, and the staff were friendly.”

I loved the retro style of it. They did an amazing job with the design of the hotel. I also love how close it is to the village and the lake. The only “issue” with the property was the room was really hot. I understand they don’t have ac because it is big bear and they are always ready for the cold. I was informed they were working on getting some type of cooling system in place. It was definitely hard to sleep, but that’s not going to keep me and my husband from going back. Aside from the warm room we absolutely loved it

I liked the location, the décor, and the cleanliness. I didn't like having to wait more than 30 minutes to check in, and I didn't like that there was no A/C—they only have a fan, and it doesn't help much

“Great vibe but not worth the money”

The decor was amazing. Such a great vibe. It is under construction so there are major things like we couldn’t access the pool. However, other details like our fridge was broken, empty body wash in the shower, no mattress in the pull-out couch. The staff was so friendly, but there needs to be more than 1 desk attendant during busy times like check in
