“It was our 3rd stay this year… would stay again.”

Breakfast was the best, and Albina Junie—the server—was incredibly pleasant, always smiling, constantly refilling food and tidying the area, making us feel at home. The front‑desk team were also friendly and helpful. Housekeeping caused issues: we arrived at 12:30 pm and were assigned a room near the elevator as requested, but we couldn’t check in until 3 pm. We left to explore the area and were told to return at 3 pm only to learn the room was still not ready because of housekeeping problems; no timeline was given. We ended up with a different room. We also asked for ice, but there were no buckets available and the staff said they had run out. Finally, the sink in our room kept backing up, which we reported to the front desk.

“Perfect to know Albany and rest”

The location was amazing and breakfast was wonderful; the rooms were very clean and spacious. The pool, however, wasn’t heated and felt a bit cold at night.

“Minimalism taken a step too far.”

Tru’s minimalism went too far—the room was so sparse that there was nothing to place luggage on. When we called the front desk, the initial answer was that there were no luggage racks, which is absurd since everyone arriving with a hotel has luggage. The hotel was clean and everything worked, but it was confusing to be paired with a different type of property. Luggage racks were missing.
