Hoe gasten het hotel beoordelen, aspect voor aspect.
The beach view and sea were beautiful and the atmosphere calm, but the room felt unsafe: the door next to the pool villa couldn’t lock, so at night I feared someone might sneak in. The pool villa was full of insects, and the bedroom door to the bathroom wouldn’t close properly, letting the air conditioner out and insects in.

A snug resort, but a refurbishment would make it a prime investment spot; it could become a brilliant luxury place with a bit of “investigations” and an eye for details. The AC feels either retro or simply aged, and the Jacuzzi shares that same vibe.

The visual impression isn’t bad, and the pool by the beach looks very pretty. When we arrived around 13 o’clock the reception was unoccupied, so we wandered through the premises until the gardener handed us a room. Unfortunately the door lock/handle was broken and could only turn 180 degrees, held together by a single screw. The fire exit door that also leads to the pool jammed badly and barely opened. Requests for another room were denied. We never even settled in and found another hotel instead, which was a shame.

It was a nicely laid‑out resort in a very quiet spot outside Ban Krut, offering a wonderful view of the temple, and the beach felt like it was ours alone. There’s a lovely BBQ tent right across from the resort. In hindsight we’d have preferred a location closer to the center, even though they did give us a free trip to the center once from the accommodation.
