“Convenient for first trip to Istanbul”

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Barbera. The location is excellent—most of the main sightseeing spots are within about a 15-minute walk, and the tram and metro stations are only a couple of minutes away, which made getting around Istanbul very easy. It was also convenient for getting to and from the airport. The staff were very friendly, polite, and welcoming. A special thank you to Kürşat, who was incredibly helpful. He helped us book a restaurant and gave us lots of useful advice for our daily walks around Istanbul, which we really appreciated. Breakfast is fairly modest, but good, and they make fresh eggs in any style you like. Our room was small, but very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There was a coffee maker, kettle, bathrobes, slippers, and everything we needed. Just one small note: there was no hand lotion provided. Even though the hotel is very close to a busy tourist area, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The soundproofed windows worked very well, and we slept without any street noise disturbing us. Overall, Hotel Barbera is a lovely boutique hotel with a great location, welcoming staff, and a very comfortable atmosphere. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it. Nothing! Everything was good

There is still so much to discover in Istanbul, and I am truly grateful to the wonderful team at Barbera Hotel for once again making our stay during our Istanbul trip so lovely, enjoyable, and memorable. After enjoying the hotel’s varied and delicious breakfast, take a stroll through the beautiful Gülhane Park and treat yourself to an ice cream. Or take a boat trip along the Bosphorus to Anadolu Kavağı, enjoy the journey, wander through its peaceful little streets, discover local handicrafts, and savour fresh and delicious fish at Kavak Baba. You could also visit the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art in Sultanahmet, explore the colourful Balat neighbourhood, or enjoy the breathtaking views of Istanbul from Pierre Loti Café. And there is even more to discover: Üsküdar offers wonderful views as well, especially from Nakkaştepe National Garden. You can also have an interesting and fun experience at Emaar Aquarium, or head to Kuzguncuk for a delicious meal and a charming local atmosphere. And when you return to Barbera Hotel in the evening, one of the lovely members of the staff will greet you with a hot, comforting cup of tea or coffee, just the way you like it. The staff were very friendly, offered great tips for exploring the city, and the hotel was clean and well‑located. I recommend it. The view of the Bosphorus is stunning.
