I never imagined finding such a stunning place; it’s a very quiet, lovely spot with incredibly friendly and well‑organized people. Leaving our little villa was heartbreaking, and I highly recommend it—thanks to Emeline and the owners, see you soon!

We originally planned to stay only two nights at Villa Harmonie, but we extended by four days because we loved the place so much! The setting is truly magical, with spectacular sunsets. We also ordered a dinner (rougaille sausage) delivered straight to the villa, which was excellent. Emmeline, the manager, is extremely responsive and available. A small tip: check the guide accessible via QR code in each room—it’s full of great spots and excursion ideas. Two kayaks are also provided, perfect for watching the sunset on the water. It isn’t the best spot for swimming because the water is shallow, but you can kayak close to Île aux Bénitiers.

It’s a calm, secluded spot with great hosts who accompany you daily and advise where to eat. You feel at home, yet on the ocean shore, and the sunsets are excellent. From here it’s convenient to drive to any excursion—Park Casello, Chamarel, Le Morne, Tamarine (the bay with boats for ocean access to whales) is a 20‑minute drive by rental car. You can’t swim there because it’s very shallow; you definitely need a car, as everywhere in Mauritius, to see it better. We went to Le Morne and Tamarina beaches.

Staying at Villa Harmonie in Ilot Fortier was unforgettable; it felt like a little slice of paradise—peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect escape from daily life. The view of Le Morne is simply breathtaking, and the sunsets are absolutely spectacular, making every evening feel magical. A special thank you to Emeline, Amanda, and Denis for being incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We highly recommend Villa Harmonie to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in one of Mauritius’s most beautiful settings and can’t wait to return.
