I stayed close to Bologna and enjoyed the on‑site SPA, a small pool, and the restaurant. The food, however, felt pricey for the modest portion sizes, and while the hotel lets animals in, it really isn’t pet friendly.

The room was lovely and the pool was great; the restaurant served good food and every staff member was friendly, especially Simon at reception who went above and beyond for us. The only thing that could improve is a small shop on the premises.

Everything was wonderful, except the room’s cold water; they promptly offered me the adjacent room so I could wash.
