Beacon Hermitage

“The highlight of our trip! It inspired us to seek out more bnb's like this, planning to return!”

We stayed at this place and it was absolutely amazing; the owners were incredibly kind and generous, going the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. The property is beautiful with a stunning garden, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They even customized breakfast items for us, which made the experience even more special. The location was convenient, making it easy to hop in and out of downtown Beacon. Everything was perfect!

“Lovely BnB with an amazing breakfast and very comfortable room!”

The hosts were wonderful and went above and beyond. Unfortunately, the text message instructions for the entry link to the BnB didn’t work.

“A lovely perfect stay”

We had a fantastic stay at Beacon Hermitage! Joe and Jim welcomed us warmly. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, and breakfast was amazing—delicious pastries and an outstanding frittata. Jim’s kindness and hospitality were truly exceptional; he even drove us to our hike and into town whenever he could, which we really appreciated. It’s a beautiful place with wonderful hosts, and we can’t wait to return! We loved everything; nothing could make it better.

This place was more than just a beautiful stay—it felt like being welcomed into a home shaped by art, care, and love. The garden was peaceful and dreamlike, and every detail inside—the coffee and tea, the beautiful glassware, and especially the robes—made us feel wonderfully cared for. As a lesbian couple, we felt completely safe, comfortable, and at ease. Jim was exceptionally warm and kind, and our whole stay had a rare serenity to it. It’s a truly special place to rest, be together, and remember.

Breakfast was delicious, with fresh baked pastry and frittata. The location is right off a rural stretch of Route 9D with traffic; the signage is hard to read, especially at night, so GPS is essential.
