The experience was fantastic; the setting was truly beautiful, with a river right next to it, perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. The private baths were super cozy and immersive, the house was very beautiful and welcoming, and we felt really good there. The staff were very kind, spoke good English, and even gave us a ride by car to the port. It was our best accommodation experience on Yakushima; I hope to return and I highly recommend it. Thank you for the warm welcome.

I found the place super calm, right on the route to Shiratani Unsuikyo, and the traditional hot bath was so soothing that the scent of wood still lingers in my mind; I’d definitely return. The only thing I wish I’d booked was the chopstick‑making class, because everyone seemed to love it.

We had an absolutely delightful stay; the room was well equipped and offered a view of a stunning garden, the staff were outstanding and very helpful, and the nearby restaurants and well-stocked supermarket were convenient—highly recommend and hope to come back someday.
