The place didn’t exist; it was a scam 😒 😑. I was scammed 😪

I never got to check in because, despite calling and emailing the hotel many times, I couldn’t confirm anything, so I had to cancel the trip out of fear I’d arrive without a room.

Is this a prank? The place isn’t real and you’re scamming people! You’re advertising a property that doesn’t exist.

I can’t give a rating because I never got in. No door codes were sent, so I couldn’t enter. Calls, texts, emails and messages on the booking site got no reply. With no other rooms in Whitby, I had to take a £70 taxi to Middlesbrough. Pathetic. The booking site should drop this.
