Hoe gasten het hotel beoordelen, aspect voor aspect.
We didn’t use breakfast. The coffee machine unfortunately didn’t work. The balcony is pretty, well furnished, and offers a view of Mount Etna. The beds are comfortable, and the shower is nice. We were very satisfied. The apartment is at the very top with no elevator, steep stairs about 90 steps, making it very difficult to carry two suitcases. The coffee machine was broken.

The jacuzzi was very enjoyable and the bed comfortable. The hot water is impossible to adjust in the shower, and there is no hot water at the showerhead in the jacuzzi. Additionally, the hotel is in a truly unwelcoming neighbourhood with a view of a completely deteriorating area that isn’t inviting. Finally, the breakfast was really disappointing compared to what we expected, which is a shame given the price paid…

The historic centre is close, even though the neighbourhood looks pretty run‑down, and there’s a secure, monitored parking nearby. The downside is the room on the 4th floor, which has no elevator.

The location is truly in a grimy part of town. While you can see Etna, the first‑floor views are mainly of dirty streets and dilapidated buildings. The spa bathtub in the room is pointless—filling it takes over an hour, and the bathroom is smaller than a pocket handkerchief! We never got arrival instructions, and the owner didn’t contact us before the departure day to ask us to give him a 10 on booking. Because of that, we couldn’t access the accommodation on day one, even though the owner ignored my messages on booking, WhatsApp, and phone calls.
