“Misleading credit, helpful pool and restaurant staff. Disappointing check out”
The room was nice and the staff at the restaurants and pool areas were fantastic compared to the desk staff. We received an $850 USD credit for the property and were severely disappointed with how the credit could be used and the options for the credit. That was the deciding factor for our stay there, and if it was presented again I would not recommend anyone take it upon being disappointed. The “guest services” were less than helpful in getting us a transfer back to the hotel; I had to ask multiple times for a response. When checking out, the service man did not ask about our stay and just cut off our brackets, and that was the whole conversation. He showed more emotion talking to his fellow staff than the customers. Because of the misleading credit and unsatisfactory help from the reception staff I would rethink attending another RIU place.
