Tria Maria Cottage

A repeat visit to Tria Maria was almost identical; the chair and table on the terrace were replaced with two sunbeds, yet the view remained just as fantastic, with the sea shifting between ebb and flow. Unlike other beaches I visited on my overland tour arranged by Maria, this one is swim‑able regardless of tide. The best spot has the sea only a few meters away, and the accommodation can arrange excursions to both sea and land on request. There is nothing to complain about if you want to avoid parties and late nights; it’s sad to have to leave.

“Cottage bellissimo sulla spiaggia più bella delle isole kai .”

The cottage offered a beautiful view directly onto the stunning Ngurbloat beach, managed by Maria and her staff who made us feel at home, with excellent breakfast and the option for them to prepare lunch or dinner. Staying at Tri Maria was the best choice—paradise.

“Helemaal toppie”

The location was perfect and very relaxing, but the smell of the sewer system was noticeable, especially from the toilet.

“Tökéletes”

The location was perfect, right on the white sandy beach. We spent 18 nights here, the breakfast was good, and it was a particular pleasure that we could grill. The staff were very kind and helpful; Maria assisted with motorbike rentals. One word: 10/10.

“Posto fantastico, da gestire meglio”

Posizione su una spiaggia molto bella e strategica per fare tutte le escursioni (ottime anche ad agosto) che anche la struttura è in grado di organizzare (se si ha tempo valutare anche la “lontana” isola di Walir). Colazione ottima, con dei pancake alla banana molto buoni e frigo in comune disponibile per mettere acqua e frutta comprata in autonomia. Camera nel complesso buona e spaziosa con uno spazio esterno dato di comodi lettini. Bagno non adatto, con molti moscerini e un lavandino instabile. Comunicazione difficile con la proprietaria e il personale. Nota relativa alla conservazione dell’ambiente: - avere un boccione di acqua migliore nel quale fare i refill con le proprie bottiglie, ridurrebbe il consumo di plastica sull’isola, siccome sulle spiagge se ne trova molta. - persone “benestanti” come la proprietaria dovrebbero premurarsi maggiormente dell’ambiente marino delle isole. Dare delle indicazioni ai pescatori per NON ROVINARE la barriera corallina con la barca durante la bassa marea, o evitare di DISTRUGGERLA con l’ancora mi sembra il minimo per preservare questo posto fantastico
