“I was sat outside the house locked out for hours it was horrible.”

I paid the full price for my stay, but when I got there I had no access code, no keys, and no one to let me in. The owner called me and texted that I needed to verify myself, sending a link that asked for my ID, receipt, and an additional £250 deposit. Since I couldn’t pay that deposit, I never entered the property and I still haven’t received a refund.

Everything was flawless, except it was really hard to locate the property and nobody answered the phone when I tried to call.

The shared kitchen, washing machine, and private fridge let me cook my own meals, and the room was spacious and felt like home. However, the linens and bath towels should be changed more regularly.

“Fine once I was in, but lacking in maintenance.”

The room was good and I could get in once I had the code, but all the messages were automated and there was no way to reach a real person. I arrived without knowing the address, and only after uploading my ID was the address revealed, which was frustrating because no one could just answer the phone. The bathroom was also messy and needed repairs.
