This was the sixth time I stayed here and possibly the last; from arrival we had no towels, and when I tried to shower I went to reception and they said they were drying them but didn’t inform us upon arrival. We left after three hours and returned with towels still not ready; only the next morning were they available, made of a very thin fabric that didn’t dry well and stuck to the body—poor quality. While showering another issue: the shampoo and soap containers in the shower were broken and neither released product; I had to remove them and unclog to get the product. The reservation included breakfast, which was fruit, a piece of bread, and coffee. Earlier stays offered chilaquiles with eggs and beans at my request, but on the second day there was no water and when I reported it at reception it took two hours to fix. It’s sad to see this once‑beautiful hotel decline; the chef is still kind and tried to solve the breakfast issue by offering chilaquiles with eggs for an extra fee. I travel frequently to Tepic and would definitely stay elsewhere for a little more money. A typical business that tried to apply “misunderstood savings” with poor services compared to what they used to offer.
