Great location, good onsen, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast, but the futons were a bit too thin.

The accommodation was amazing, and the hospitality and owners’ treatment were beyond words—they treated us like guests, not customers, preparing everything with great care! It was such a pleasant stay, we made the most of the onsen, enjoyed a fantastic dinner and breakfast—some of the best in Japan! We made a mistake with the reservation, and they fixed it immediately with a smile. I hope to return soon; thank you very much! Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

The service was good, but the price and room do not match. I once walked the Kumano Kodo about 20 years ago; the scenery had more charm then, and now the wabi‑sabi has disappeared, making the price feel unjustified and sad. This isn’t just a problem with this ryokan, so if it doesn’t suit you, please cut it.

The food was okay, we loved the calming bath, and overall the atmosphere was pleasant.

We spent a couple of days here and it was great. The scenery was beautiful and it felt good to return to the Guest house after a long day of exploring nature – a perfect escape from the busy city of Osaka.
