Haarlem Hotel Suites is a short walk from the train station and sits beside the town square, surrounded by great restaurants and shops, with the canal and its sidewalk cafés just a few steps away. We loved Haarlem and chose this place perfectly—highly recommend! No complaints, we loved it!

“Nice for vacation. Not suitable for business. Overpriced.”

The location is close to the city center and the historic area. However, the steep stairs and awkward layout were a problem. The apartment sits above a restaurant, so kitchen smells sometimes seep through, and the bedroom window cannot open because it’s next to the kitchen exhaust. Wi‑Fi was unreliable, unusable for video calls, and completely down on our last day, so it isn’t suitable for remote work.

The location in the old town is very good, and even in the off‑season it’s quiet at night. The apartment was nicely furnished, but a few practical items were missing, such as a luggage rack, a magnifying mirror, and storage options. The apartment often smelled of drains, and the very steep staircase should be better highlighted in the description.

“Persoonlijke aandacht!”

Because we were getting married that day, they had chilled champagne, heart‑shaped balloons, and a tray of chocolates ready—so sweet and thoughtful! It was Saturday evening on a busy street, so you could hear some noise from the front, but the bedroom was quiet, and it’s still nice to step outside in the center to have breakfast or shop.

“Scala di accesso lunga e troppo ripida!”

The location and surroundings are fairly well cared for. The staircase to reach the apartment is too steep and the steps are small, making it very dangerous for elderly guests and small children, and it’s very inconvenient to carry luggage up and down.
