Hotel D Bulle - La Gruyère

“Alles gut!”

The room was nice, breakfast was good, and the location is great, but the electric car charger is so pricey that I chose not to use it.

The welcome was friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was very cozy too, the décor is cool and evokes the local countryside even though it sits above a train station square, and the hotel is very calm and acoustically isolated. The only issues were that breakfast and parking were too expensive, both costing more than in Lausanne even though we’re in Bulle, and there were no clear signs at the parking arrival and the reception was poorly marked.

Right by the station and the rooms are large and pretty, but it’s hard to find them, and the breakfast room and reception are in the same space, making it cramped.

“Modern hotel in a central location”

It’s a modern hotel in a nice spot, right next to the train station and city center, and it’s clean and quiet. The rooms claim to have air conditioning but it’s not a real AC; the power is very low and you can’t adjust the temperature.
