I skipped breakfast. My room was very noisy from traffic—secondary glazing might help. The location is ideal for the city centre. If I return, I’d book again, provided I could get a room at the rear of the property.

The room and everything about it were lovely, comfy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. The milk in the mini‑fridge was a nice touch, and the full‑length mirror—though not essential—was always welcome for work meetings, which were the reason for my trip. The only minor issue was that the room felt a bit chilly; the weather had turned cooler in the last week, so the bed covers were a bit light for the temperature, and the bathroom felt a bit fresh—though I’m a soft southerner.

The house is centrally located yet quiet. The room was large and tastefully furnished, with plenty of storage space. The operators were very friendly and helpful. The bed linens were very comfortable and of good quality. The bed was a bit too soft, but it was manageable. The pipes in the house sometimes made loud noises, like ship foghorns, and that disturbed my sleep.
