“Great location on waters edge . Relaxing Old fashioned hotel”
The location was fabulous, and I enjoyed watching the shipping lane and ferry activity. The hotel felt quite tired and was short‑staffed in the restaurant.

Haven Hotel sits on Poole Harbour’s Sandbanks Peninsula, offering elegant rooms with satellite TV, tea/coffee facilities, and private modern bathrooms. Some rooms overlook Purbeck Hills or Brownsea Island. The Point restaurant, led by Chef Mark Nagle, serves locally sourced cuisine, complemented by a stylish lounge bar. The hotel is a 15‑minute drive from Poole Ferry Terminal and minutes from Sandbanks Beach.

The location was great. Nothing else to add.

Staff were excellent. Location splendid. Food first class. Parking very convenient. Bathroom a little cramped. A draught ale would have been nice. A variety in the evening meal would add an incentive to eat in over a longer stay

The location and the helpfulness of the staff were good. The place is a bit old‑fashioned but still very clean; it could use a few renovations.

Fab location with lovely views, plenty of parking, and an outdoor heated swimming pool right on the beach. No air‑conditioning.
