The dinner was by far the best meal I had during my three‑week trip through India!

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The small property had staff who were always present and attentive. Breakfast and dinner were truly excellent and generous, with delicious typical dishes. The location was outside the city centre in a quiet spot, which is fine because the city isn’t big, so a little distance is acceptable. The owner and staff were very kind and ready to help with everything. Our room faced the back side instead of the canal, but that didn’t make much difference because a houseboat is docked in front of the property most of the time, which blocks the view. A tuk‑tuk is needed to move around, but the staff can get one in a few minutes without problems.

This fairly new property offers large, nice rooms and great beds. It has four rooms in a pretty location on the water that is absolutely quiet. I recommend having breakfast and dinner there – Uthman is a great cook.

A peaceful place for a calm stay. The accommodation is exceptional! The charm of a beautiful old house with all modern equipment. Green surroundings and a lovely view of the canal, we sit and watch boats pass by. The property is well maintained, with impeccable cleanliness throughout. A new, beautiful room with all the necessary comforts and a canal view. The meals were delicious and very plentiful, extraordinary cuisine with many flavours – by far our best meals. A big thank you to the chef. Excellent, attentive and caring welcome. A family spirit, simple, and very good service. We only stayed one night, it was too short, we regret not enjoying all the activities and services offered. Good value for money, a perfect address to discover the Backwaters that we highly recommend. The narrow street makes access difficult. Our bathroom was a bit small.
