The hotel is stunning and the location is excellent. It’s split into three structures, and breakfast is served in the main one, which faces the sea—absolutely wonderful. The reception and dining staff are super helpful, and Paul, the guy who brought us our luggage, was very attentive, explaining everything about the room with a bright smile. I can’t judge the cleaning ladies, as the room was always tidy and freshly made, but I had asked for the leftover fruit from the welcome tray (peels, etc.) to be removed, yet after two days it was still there, so I had to throw it away myself. Frappè, the hotel cat, is gorgeous and friendly; her presence brings calm from morning to night. The only downside is the price. Two thousand euros for the last week of August is a bit steep in my opinion, though I’ve not found a hotel at a lower level unless you’re willing to settle for far less. In general, the whole island is expensive, from umbrellas to gasoline, so I kind of expected it.
