The people and bar were nice, but the rooms smelled like fire or thatch and the beds were super uncomfortable.

The staff at both the hotel and the bar/restaurant were friendly, and they accommodated early check‑in, late check‑out, and even provided a light lunch on Sunday. There were no negatives; this is an inn, not an American five‑star hotel.

The photos on the site are completely misleading; the real rooms look nothing like the pictures, and some images might even belong to another property or be old. Turning on the shower taps feels like a MacGyver challenge to reach the right temperature. There’s no DStv as advertised, so if you’re hoping to catch a game you’ll need to find another venue. The building itself is in bad shape and needs a major overhaul to be acceptable.
