Everything was great; the staff were amazing and Luke went above and beyond for me and my husband, but we were given the wrong lodge and were compensated for that.

The staff were lovely and the location is good, but the rooms are very tired and dark, the bed was too soft, the bathroom was awful—shower just dribbled, so we showered in the pool changing room. A bit dusty in places, it feels like a 70s/80s Swiss chalet.

The dinner was wonderful and the waiter was very good, but the girl at pool reception was rude and didn’t make us feel welcomed. The breakfast waitress said she’d take our order in 10 minutes, yet I had to find her after 20 minutes and the breakfast was cold. The room we stayed in was very dated and rundown, had an old TV, and the door to the verandah wouldn’t open. Spider webs were everywhere and it needs an update; I won’t recommend it to anyone. The reception girl was great at check‑in, but the bar had no staff; we waited 10 minutes for a drink and finally had to ask reception again for another person to do the same thing.
