The location in a wooded area looked nice and the beds were comfy, yet the room smelled terrible, and opening the window didn’t help; there were no other rooms available, so I just stuck it out—this budget motel isn’t a Ritz, the bathtub had mold in the grout, and a quick deep clean with minor maintenance could have made a big difference.
