The hotel was small and cozy, rooms were clean, and the reception lady—maybe the manager—was friendly and handed out plenty of brochures for local sights. Unfortunately, the room smelled strongly of bleach, the shower was tiny, and we had to close the blinds at night because a streetlamp outside kept the curtains too bright until the early morning, something we weren’t warned about. The window handle was half‑loose, the breakfast spread was too small, and the cleaning lady seemed annoyed when we checked out about 15 minutes late.
