The welcome was very friendly and the breakfast excellent; the bathroom was shared, but that didn’t bother us since we were the only visitors that time, though the location was a little tricky to find.

The breakfast was good, plentiful, and varied, though a better marmalade jar—one with more fruit than 20%—would have been nicer; the full English could have been improved with black pudding. It would have been nice to have toilet access at 5:45 a.m., as the other guest was still showering then.

The stay was superbly comfortable and the staff very friendly; it might have been a bit warm, but that’s better than the other place.

Excellent communication and a warm welcome made the stay pleasant, and the room itself was great. The breakfast was good, and I would recommend visiting. The bed felt a bit hard for me, but my husband found it very comfortable.
