The spot was great—close to a bunch of shops and in a nice area, and the staff sent clear check‑in instructions. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I wish there had been an A/C unit, and a closet for hanging clothes would have helped. The air unit was noisy and the blinds need fixing or replacing.

The place was quiet and safe, so even traveling solo felt secure. It was my first stay while attending an event in Stanford, and getting around was easy. A cozy café was nearby. I was woken up by a guest who tried to force open my room after midnight. Then the host stayed outside talking for a long time, so I couldn’t sleep. The bathroom is shared; long‑term guests leave their stuff, so the floor wasn’t cleaned properly. The toilet floor mat had urine stains.

The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. The location is perfect for biking to Stanford or downtown. The bed was comfortable. The house was tidy and cozy.
