The price matched the room, yet the furnishings were extremely worn, with peeling leather on both the chair and headboard, a dirty carpet, dirty walls that need repainting, and a broken lampshade. I asked for the fold‑out bed to be set up for my son, and they said it would be, but it wasn’t; we only needed it for a night’s crash, so it did the job, but the room was pretty grim.

The building is beautiful, but the pool has been closed for a long time and that wasn’t listed on the website.

The hotel was honestly very luxurious in the past, but it needs a full renovation; the furniture is worn and the return path through the many corridors is confusing, so it doesn’t deserve four stars or even one.
