“I regret not booking a proper hotel. For the price paid”
They keep the place very clean. However, our experience was far from satisfactory. The staff were neither accommodating nor professional. When I asked about our confirmed booking for Room 204, the only reply was, "Ito ma'am," with no proper explanation or help. When I asked how to get into the room, I was met with, "Ito ma'am, aada an susi," which felt dismissive. Basic amenities such as towels and toiletries were missing, which is disappointing for an Airbnb listing. Even after paying ₱2,400+, we were charged an extra ₱800 because I failed to update the guest count (three adults—my senior mother, husband—and a 4‑year‑old child). That extra charge seemed excessive; according to their posted tariff, Room 204 costs ₱2,800 for four guests, so the extra ₱800 doesn’t make sense—it should have been only ₱400 at most. They also asked for a ₱500 security deposit, which wasn’t clearly communicated beforehand. Since we paid for an extra bed, I expected at least a pillow, but none were provided. Overall, I regret not booking a proper hotel. For the price paid, the service and amenities were subpar, especially in a provincial setting where better value is expected. I hope management improves their customer service and pricing transparency.
