The accommodation sits in the city centre, just a short 2‑3 minute walk to the main square where you can reach plenty of sights like the marzipan museum, the town hall, the model railway exhibition or wander around the castle, choosing from various displays. Beer lovers can sample local Czech brews at the brewery's tasting room, which is also inside the castle walls. The hotel restaurant mainly offers fish dishes, but there are other foods that can be washed down with the local brewery’s beer. Our room was particularly large, with a comfortable bed and impeccable cleanliness ensuring our comfort. There was no air‑conditioning, but we didn’t miss it even in the hot weather, and the open window was not disruptive; the room faced the stream and the noise didn’t disturb our rest. Parking was in the hotel courtyard, with a numbered spot for each vehicle. Visitors in large cars should walk around the premises beforehand, as the entrance gate might be narrow; we fit in an MG ZS hybrid. It’s worth leaving the car in the parking lot because you can reach anywhere with just a few minutes of walking. Even if the restaurant’s menu doesn’t appeal to everyone, it was especially enjoyable for us and we ate deliciously; there are also many restaurants in the square to choose from. Overall, we felt very comfortable, thanks to the courteous and kind staff. The breakfast buffet offers a selection of cold cuts, though I would have liked a larger variety. There was an option to request egg dishes, but we didn’t take advantage of it. Still, we didn’t feel hungry!

The lodging is right in the heart of Třeboň. The apartment was large, clean, and even without air‑conditioning the temperature stayed acceptable during the record heat. The whole building is well maintained and historic. Parking in the courtyard is included. The staff are pleasant and accommodating. The price‑performance ratio is too low. Breakfast runs from 8 to 10, which is late for our schedule. We usually handled breakfast elsewhere, a stroll or an early outing, and returned during the breakfast window. Compared to other accommodations in the same price range, the breakfast is noticeably weaker (for example, compared to Šupinka). One must order in advance one of the following: sausages, scrambled eggs, ham & eggs, ham and cheese, or pancakes – average quality. There are also juices, coffee (instant, “turek”, Tchibo machine), tea, honey, toast, yogurt. The courtyard entrance is quite narrow, but it does fit larger cars – a Škoda Superb Combi, a BMW X5, a Range Rover. Payment is cash‑only – ATMs are on the square. The beds were quite saggy.
