The location was very quiet and the surroundings lovely. Breakfast on the veranda was pleasant and plentiful. The room still has old furniture; the beds creak, wardrobe doors jam, a bedside lamp was broken, the bathroom window was hard to open, the mirror was too low and poorly lit. Mold could be seen on the shower tiles.

I stayed for just one night and it met all my needs: the room was comfortable, the bathroom was fine, and everything I required for a short stay was there. I arrived around midnight, found no staff, but a quick phone call gave me clear check‑in instructions, so overall it was a very nice stay. The only drawback is that the hotel feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere; it’s peaceful but I wouldn’t know how to get there without a car.

The beds were comfy, the shower powerful, and the price was great. It’s a bit dated and grungy on the edges, but for the cost that’s acceptable. The receptionist in a jumper was a touch surly and abrupt.
