“Pleasantly surprised, not as janky as it sounded”

I only needed the basics and the price was right; the bunk bed didn’t squeak, the AC worked, and the fridge and freezer were fine. It’s a two‑minute walk to Alameda metro station and a fresh market nearby, and they let me check in and out early. I had to call someone to check in, but that got sorted out quickly. The walk to the spots I wanted was a bit too far, though public transit is solid. They have a weird rule that you can’t leave personal items on or under the bed; you must stash them in a separate room.

The toilet is inside the shower room, and there’s only one of them, so you have to wait a very long time and can’t use it freely—feels like a prison.

“Tem que melhorar bastante as condições do alojamento”

O hostel está muito bem localizado, muito próximo da estação de metrô facilitando assim o deslocamento para outras regiões da cidade. A demora em responder as mensagens pelo booking, no hostel não dispõe de toalha ou aluguel da mesma, faltava papel higiênico nas casas de banho, não foi disponibilizado wi-fi, as beliches de ferro faziam muito barulho, não tem locker para armazenar os pertences

Check‑in and check‑out were on time, simple and quick. The place is clean and super well‑situated, close to transport, shops and cafés, and there’s a big park right next door. I recommend it ✅
