I was shocked when the hotel refused to let me stay, even though I'd already booked a room. They just wouldn't budge, and I was left wondering what had gone wrong. The whole experience was a bit of a mystery, but I guess it's not the first time something like this has happened.

The only thing that saved this hotel from being a complete disaster was the behavior of the staff, who seemed to be trying to cover up the fact that it was seriously lacking in basic facilities. But even their efforts couldn't make up for the fact that my room had no locking system, which was a pretty big deal. I mean, who promises that nothing will happen and then delivers on that promise? It was quite stunning, actually.

The staff at this hotel were really helpful, especially when I arrived late at night and they came out to open the main gate for me. It was a small gesture, but it made a big difference. On the other hand, the fact that the rooms are on the third floor and there's no passenger lift available is a bit of a problem.
