The place is well‑located and they swapped us into a large room, but there’s no elevator, the noise is loud, and people talk loudly at night.

It was a charming stay; the next day we moved to a pricier spot that wasn’t as charming, but the flower pots and rooftop terrace added character.

The location is fantastic, close to everything, and the room exceeded my expectations with a bright bathroom, a lockable wardrobe, a comfy double bed, daily housekeeping, and spotless cleanliness; the communal kitchen had a stove, kettle, microwave, etc., and the air‑con was decent. Bela Vista also offers a nice roof terrace with tables and seating. The only downside was the two terrapins kept in a cramped plastic box downstairs, which made me feel sorry for them as they tried to escape.
