I stayed right next to the highway, and a friendly local and his translator were there to help; I could lock my motorcycle and the apartment was quiet 😀. The downside was the lack of a kitchenette and no way to heat anything.

The hosts were very pleasant and cooked us a homemade dinner; we drank beers with them and had a great time! A lockable parking spot for our motorcycles was also provided. It felt a bit isolated, but that added to the peace and the hosts’ friendliness.
