The staff were friendly, the cabin was clean and lived up to expectations, and the overall stay was excellent.

Nothing about the property appealed to me. The facilities were in dire need of an upgrade, very dated, and the community kitchen and bathroom were poor. Only two of the four showers worked, and one room had no soap.

Breakfast was fresh, hearty, and delicious—scrambled eggs on toast with a pot of tea. My pod was comfy, quiet, and cosy, and the warm welcome was wonderful. It was great to shop for Pot a doodle do gifts and tray‑bake treats for the next stop. I would have liked a small booklet explaining how to turn on the hot water or heater, but I figured it out after exploring a bit.

As always, the place was the most peaceful and relaxing in the UK, absolutely exceptional, but I had to leave.
