The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, but the room’s cleanliness was only okay because there were minor issues like stains on the carpet.

The hotel was lovely and the daily service was friendly, and I didn’t find anything I didn’t like – a lively experience overall.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, but the breakfast was chaotic: there were so many guests that there wasn’t enough space to sit, the food ran out along with cutlery and juice, and £30 for a dog felt expensive; there was only one big towel shared between two guests.

Even though it’s right next to the motorway, the room was very quiet, a good size, and had effective air‑conditioning; the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the bed had a bit of a dip in the middle.
