Lofoten Rorbu Lodge

The house’s location and interior are outstanding, offering a warm, spacious feel especially for larger groups; the kitchen is fully equipped and the terrace view is unbeatable, as are the sea‑facing bedrooms. However, the oven was a bit dirty when we arrived, and it would have helped to have washing liquid, shampoo, and shower gel provided—our own supplies worked, but other bookings had them.

“Indimenticabile!”

The house is wonderful; waking up to a sunrise over the sea is fantastic, it’s large, bright, well‑arranged, and well equipped. The host is friendly and responds immediately. Absolutely recommended!

The accommodation is very pretty and new with great views, and having two bathrooms was appreciated for our group. For the price, we didn’t like several things: check‑in starts at 10 am, which feels too early, especially since you can’t enter until 3 pm; the terrace is poorly maintained and hard to enjoy, even though it’s by the sea and there are birds—wood could be treated for easier cleaning; and the microwave is oddly placed near the ceiling, needing a ladder or something to reach it.

The structure is lovely with a view of the fjord, but unfortunately we were without power for almost the entire stay. Before arriving, the host shared a phone number for information and emergencies, but that number was not active, so I had to seek help through booking’s messaging.

“FANTÀSTIC”

All in all, the house, terrace, views, and location were great. We had to use the corner shed that had many bins, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the terrace because it was dirty from their deposits. We understand nature can’t be controlled, but both the table and the bar were quite dirty, likely due to the terrace’s situation.
