The location was phenomenal, tucked into the Austrian Alps beside a quiet lake. The services and staff were excellent, especially the restaurant manager who was a pleasure to work with. The food was also superb.

The hotel is exceptionally beautiful, like a castle. Rooms were appealing. The location is dreamy. We were housed in Villa Lorea, unfortunately 10 minutes on foot from the hotel. The bike shed was poorly equipped, only one outlet for four e‑bikes. When asked about an alternative or a multi‑socket, the answer was just a shrug, so we had to carry the batteries into the room. The reception was only staffed from 8 am or later. Breakfast was also only available from 8 am, so an earlier departure was impossible. The staff overall was very unfriendly, except for the lady at reception. To get a second coffee one had to wait long and repeatedly ask. The waitress was in charge of all guests alone and not particularly friendly. 6.0/10

Location in a beautiful setting. Musty smell in the rooms (but that might be expected in castle rooms) and some insects due to missing fly screens. 9.0/10
