Ibis Belo Horizonte Savassi

“Excelente Localização”

The hotel’s location is excellent, near all the main spots and easy to reach different parts of the city, making it well worth staying there. I altered my review after booking three rooms for artists and finding that one was cancelled without reason; despite confirming the cancellation terms and being told there was no refund, we kept the reservations, which left the artist without a room and required us to place them elsewhere. We messaged for a friendly solution but still haven’t received a reply.

“Localização muito boa e estratégica para hospedar em BH.”

The hotel is in an outstanding location, close to everything – pharmacy, mall, bars and restaurants – and Savassi is perfect for getting around the city. I changed my rating because I made three bookings for artists and discovered that one was cancelled arbitrarily; after checking the cancellation policy and being told there was no refund, we kept all three, leaving the artist without a room and forcing us to find another place. We sent a message to resolve it amicably but have heard nothing back.

Good value for money. The room’s cleanliness left something to be desired.

“Não pretendo me hospedar novamente.”

Poor service, no towels, coffee and parking are not included in the rate, so it ends up being more expensive than other hotels in the same area.

“Precisa melhorar para que possa ser recomendado.”

Breakfast was good. I stayed three nights and the air‑conditioning only worked on the first night. Even after requesting repairs, the issue wasn’t fixed, and the only option to cool down was to open the window. Because the location is on a busy avenue and the window was open, the noise was intense, making it hard to sleep.
