The hostess, price, room, bed and good hygiene were all positive, but if you’re on the move you have to drive another quarter‑hour (a short drive) to a restaurant. Our experience was that when you arrive on the trip you should find a restaurant to eat at so you don’t have to keep going after arrival.

The reception was great, the place was calm, the breakfast was good, and in the evening the host let us use his kitchen for a quick dinner, which was very pleasant. Nothing else.

Welcoming staff, friendly Dutch service, and a solid mattress made the stay comfortable. But the stairs were noisy—every footfall echoed, and when guests arrived you could hear almost everything. We also found the room lacked coffee; only tea was provided.
