The place has a good location and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the rooms feel very tired and look different from the photos – peeling paint, worn carpets, missing pictures, and cheap shower screens; the breakfast was mediocre, definitely not worth £17+ for a full English, lukewarm and nothing outstanding, which is a shame because this property could be fantastic with a bit more care.

The breakfast and evening meal were good, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, but the bedroom wall needed decorating because of an obvious leak from the ceiling.

Lovely decor. Great food in the restaurant. Very relaxed atmosphere. It was pricey! But that was because we were there during the golf at Wentworth. For the usual room price I’d say it was good value for money, but it was almost double that weekend!
