It has a lot of charm and is well‑situated, but for people who are not very fit and find it hard to climb steep hills, I wouldn't recommend it. The noise was an issue; when a tap was opened in another room the sound was as if it was right next to you, and the bed had broken slats, making it uncomfortable.

The location was excellent. The restaurant we used was excellent and the staff were good. We would have liked the towels changed after two days, and the outdoor smoking area was off‑putting.

The hotel is wonderfully situated for enjoying an exceptional village like Vilafames, the room is fully equipped, and it offers privileged access to the village’s highlights. The staff are simply exceptional—friendly, kind, close, and very, very professional. We’ll come back!
