Skye Eco Bells is an eco-friendly glamping site on the Isle of Skye, offering 3 secluded cabins with individual fire pits and 2 acres of woodland. Each cabin sleeps 2, features a barbecue area, and provides access to a shared kitchen and dining space. The off-grid site offers a shared greenhouse shower, composting toilet, and limited phone signal. Up to 2 dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

The central spot was great for touring Skye, and it was very affordable for a tight budget. The place was cozy and cute, and there was plenty of kindling to keep the fire burning. We did bring extra power banks because the small USB lights didn’t stay on long, so we charged them for the next guests.

It was very quaint, the hosts were excellent, and it was off the beaten track. I liked it personally, but it’s for the adventurous—accept that it lacks some amenities, which is part of its charm. The phone signal was surprisingly good, enough for me to set up tethered Wi‑Fi for my iPad; what a soft southern jessie!

Being off the grid in such a wonderful location was fantastic. Every shared area was spotless and the bed was super comfy.
